Priti Gosar-Patil

Academic Supervisor of US Gurukulam,  Priti is an IIT Mumbai alumni, and a Telecom industry alumni who now also teaches Bharatanatyam, Samskritam, Natyashastram, and Gujarati.

After excelling in corporate career for 25+ years, now Priti pursues non-profit endeavors with a committed passion.  As a Principal of the world's first online Samskritam Immersion school in US - Agastya Gurukulam, She is able to create and understand vision, explain bigger picture, and drive to the details.  Creative chaos and out-of-the box thinking matter to her as much as the order and patterns. Combination of these qualities and integrity distinguishes her.

As a Non-Profit Volunteer, Priti has served in capacity of a photographer, overseer, project manager, collaborator, event planner, founder and webmaster for various non-profit causes - like STEM education, rehabilitation for victims of natural disasters, livelihood and empowerment.  She visited the earthquake struck area in Bhuj, India in 2001 to survey and evaluate project proposals from local grass-root NGOs for disbursement of $200K+ funds collected by Cisco employees.

As an Artist, Priti is a registered artist with Young Audiences of Virginia for the ‘Indian Classical Dance’ category.  She has taught master classes for Bharatanatyam dance to students at VCU, UoR, and Center for Performing Arts.  Priti has successfully conceived, lead and presented various performances, workshops and training courses in collaboration with many prestigious artistes and organizations.  She translated "Nrityatmika" into English - by Sucheta Bhide-Chapekar, which was published in Dec 2018 by Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar.
