Student's regularity in school, and homework submission carry some marks.

Final report card will contain a weighted average of all these marks.

YES

What is the frequency of homework for Jignasa level 1?

We understand that the Samskritam would be totally new for kids so initially we will be having weekly homeworks which will be not overloading the kids.

And once the kids are comfortable with the language, we will slowly build the amount of homework to daily 10 minutes.

My child has never learned Samskritam before, how would the teacher teach ?

Initially, the teachers will be translating in Hindi or English to help them understand the concepts until children can grasp Samskritam.

Yes, if they are fine to sit together then can indeed sit together, we don’t have any problem.  If they are not okay, they can use separate devices.

But they need separate note books and for written exams, they need to seat away from each other.

Do you teach Indian practices like daily yoga/dhyaana, cultural practice, festivals too?

In Jignasa level, and in general in all programs, we cover the these points.

In fact, we have a special class for Dincharya Which has been custom compiled from number of books like Astang Hridayum.

Panch maha yagnam covers dhyanam and other sanskar that we insist all kids to learn on daily basis.  We do celebrate festivals with the kids.  We also teach social services and how the Indian festivals have integrated India while being celebrated in different forms across the country.

For the vocabulary help and to learn the daily spoken words one may use spokensanskrit.org, Satam Vyavaharik Vakyani by Samskrita Bharati and Vyavaharik Sanskritum by Pondichery Ashram Sampadanand Mishraji.

Will Devabhasha text books be provided by AG or to be bought by parents separately?

Agastya Gurukulam provides the names of the books and provides links from where they can be bought.
