Bharteeya Ganitam & its significance

Bharateeya Ganitam is an integrated, holistic system developed to answer many real-world problems like astronomy, linguistics, mathematics of commerce, and many more.

Agastya Gurukulam is the a Samskritam-Immersion School in pursuit of its vision of decolonized Indic education. Through this school, we attempt to revive the traditional Bharateeya method of education that flourished in the pre-Macaulay era across India.

Bharateeya Shiksha paddhati (April 15, 2023)

Much of Bharat’s great intellectual tradition is in danger of being lost thanks to centuries of invasion and colonization. Agastya Gurukulam aims to revive and spread the traditional Bharateeya Shiksha Paddhati and make our Bharateeya knowledge systems accessible to every Bharateeya child.  Through rigorous Samskritam- and Shastra-based education that is relevant to the modern world, we nurture the leaders of the future, well-rounded, confident and grounded in dharma and our civilizational grand narrative.

Amarakosha

The Amarakosha (Devanagari: अमरकोशः, IAST: Amarakośa) is the popular name for Namalinganushasanam (Devanagari: नामलिङ्गानुशासनम्, IAST: Nāmaliṅgānuśāsanam) a thesaurus in Sanskrit written by the ancient Indian scholar Amarasimha. It may be the oldest extant kosha.

Ashtadhyayi

The Ashtadhyayi is a treatise on Samskrit grammar written by the master grammarian Panini, in the 6th-5th century BCE.

This masterpiece sets the linguistic standards for the "Language of the Gods", Samskitam. In 4000 sutras, this sets out the science of phonetics and grammar.

Ekatmata Stotram

A nation consists of its people, physical features, culture and values inherent in its society. These values, special natural phenomena, noble actions of its people and leaders inspire generations of citizens.

Ekatmata Stotram is a collection of shlokas in praise of the nature, mountains, rivers, cities, philosophers, great leaders and the values of Indian society.

Gunanakoshtakam

Committing multiplication tables to memory is an important component of laying a strong foundation in mathematics that is often neglected in modern education systems.

Our students learn the tables in Samskritam, which due to its poetic nature, makes the chanting melodious, and the memorization spontaneous!
