Dr. Padmakumar is a Sanskrit enthusiastic who has played an active role in the revival of interest in Spoken Sanskrit in India, after it was left decimated by Colonialism, through teaching, writing, and advocacy for over forty years. As Director of Training and Human Resource Management of Samskrita Bharati, he has trained teachers across 42 centers in the United States and Canada on how to teach Sanskrit to adults, youth and children using a user-friendly method through which students learn to speak and enjoy Samskritam (Sanskrit). Acharya has travelled throughout India to provide training and courses to full time Volunteers of Samskrita Bharati.

Murali VK acharya was fascinated to know about his core subject in detail available in traditional granthas, so he resigned from the software profession & became a full time volunteer of Samskrita Bharati in 2009. Till 2022 August, his fulltimership was full fledged where he worked in proliferating the ‘Deva Bhasha’ among masses of more than 20 districts of South Tamilnadu. His ‘Kutumbam’ is a ‘Samskrita Kutumbam’. Murali acharya has conducted workshops across many colleges in Tamilnadu (Arts & Science as well as Engineering) regarding ‘Science in Samskritam’ topic. This 14 years of Samskritam experience (including teaching Bhagavad Gita in Samskritam & the experience of teaching few student volunteers to pursue their MA in Samskritam) combined with the Engineering degree had him landed in the right place now at Agastya Gurukulam to inspire the young minds in the Vignyanam field through Bharatiya way of thinking.

Aparajith loves everything about Saṁskṛtam and Physics. He did his undergraduate study in Mechanical Engineering from SRM University and got recruited through campus placements in an MNC. Aparajith found his true calling in Saṁskṛtam and hence quit his job after a year and half to pursue masters in Vivekananda College. He used to handle freelance coaching in Physics and Saṁskṛtam. He also contributes to AGs Gaṇitam textbook project in association with IIT Bombay by preparing Gaṇitam textbooks for classes I to VIII keeping all the Indian Mathematical treatises as the source. He is also developing a co-schooling curriculum for Saṁskṛtam to engage day scholars who wish to learn the language, thereby enhancing his learning curve in all these fields. His special liking for Mechanics, Nyāyaśāstram (Indian Epistemology) and Sāhityam (Poetry) catalyzes him to bring these specialties closer to children, thus living his dream of working towards spreading of Saṁskṛtam and Science in a deserving and justified way.

Meenakshi ji studied and worked in Chennai and is passionate about teaching and learning Thamizh. She had her own tutoring organization to teach different subjects, different boards and different classes. During Covid, she extended service as an online teacher. Meenakshi ji loves to teach Thamizh reading and writing skills for the aspirants in India and abroad. She is interested in teaching Tamil literature also. She is glad to know that many parents opt to learn Thamizh though their mother tongue is not Thamizh. Learning this language is like opening a door to culture & literature. Chandan Kumar Pathak has experience teaching in Veda Vijnana Gurukulam for one year, where he used Samskrit as the primary language of instruction. During his time there, he taught a range of subjects including Navya Vyakaran, Kavyam, Vedanta, Nyaya, Mimansha, Charvak-darshana, Jain darshana, and Boudha darshana. Additionally, he has four years of teaching experience at Premika Vidhya Kendra in Gurugram and has conducted two years of research in Indian philosophy with a focus on Oriental studies.

Parnika Tembye
Parnika Tembye, a Political Science graduate from Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College, Mumbai, simultaneously pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Samskrit. During the same time she explored her interest in Vyakaranam by diligently attending a two year Paniniya Vyakarana Course offered by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai.
Currently, She is pursuing her Masters in Samskrit from MIT ADT University. She has the experience of working as an educator for multiple educational companies based in Mumbai. She is currently associated with Agastya Gurukulam, developing a curriculum for Ganitam based on Indian Treatises and handling subjects like Samskritam, Ganitam and Itihaasa for primary children.

Ushadevi Ji, being very passionate about Samskritam, has obtained Prashikshanam from Samskrita Bharati Bangalore.
