Namrata Venkataraman

Namrata Venkatraman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Pune University and a Master’s Degree (M.S.) from the University of Texas at Austin, U.S.A.  She has done extensive research and published papers on urban design and temple architecture. 

Namrata was a part of the Austin Hindu Temple construction core team.  She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. She has spent a decade pursuing creative arts (painting, carpentry and photography).  She strongly believes in being in-tune with nature which is reflected in significant aspects of her personal life like cooking, healing, meditation and the upbringing of her children.  Her passion for India’s civilizational identity and excellence in Bharateeya education drives her to be a part of the mission in Agastya Gurukulam.

She is also a proud Agastya parent.  She is blessed with 2 bright children, and is rightly motivated to give them the ‘Bharateeya’ education and values.
