Harini Rayadurgam

Our Mathematics Head of the Department is a well read, well travelled and an academically inclined person.  She has lived and worked in many cities in India and the World and has an understanding of many industries, cultures, education systems and also many languages.

She has worked in the IT industry for 12+ years. After that, for the past 14+ years,  she has taught maths and science to students in creative ways and have developed innovative courses and methods to increase understanding, interest and fun in mathematics.

In this journey, her research has taken her to the glorious Indian mathematical traditions and texts, which has inspired her to develop a pedagogy and curriculum that could change the attitude of students towards mathematics.

Harini has taught students of various boards from CBSE, ICSE to Singapore Maths to AP Mathematics and is an expert on vedic/speed maths.

She currently leverages her knowledge, experience and wisdom to develop the Agastya Gurukulam's Ganitam curriculum, lesson plans, worksheets, textbooks, teaching methodology and curate the right concepts from the right Indian texts so that students develop a curiosity, interest, focus, speed and expertise for Ganitam and can be the leaders of tomorrow
